Personal email integration

What the planned personal email connector is for, and how it differs from the live [email protected] email channel.

Personal email is a planned connector.

It is not the same thing as the live email channel at [email protected].

Getting started

To get started with personal email, use the connectors dashboard to track connector availability. A dedicated personal-email setup flow is not exposed yet, so this page describes the intended product model rather than a live setup path.

The important distinction

Keep these two ideas separate:

  • the email channel is about talking to nicoolAI by emailing [email protected]
  • the Personal email connector is about letting nicoolAI work with a user's own email account

That distinction matters because the jobs are different.

What this connector is for

The planned connector is about personal email management.

In plain terms, that means workflows such as:

  • helping triage or organize a personal inbox
  • working with the user's own email account context
  • supporting email follow-through inside the user's actual mailbox workflow

The point is not "nicoolAI has an email address." The point is "nicoolAI can eventually help manage your email life more directly."

What it is not

This connector has nothing to do with the live [email protected] channel beyond both involving email.

It should not be confused with:

  • emailing nicoolAI at [email protected]
  • the rules nicoolAI uses when replying inside that shared channel

Expected connector model

From a product point of view, this connector should stay explicit and user-scoped.

That means:

  • the user connects their own email account
  • nicoolAI acts only within the boundaries of that connected account
  • access and behavior should stay legible rather than ambient

What is not live yet

This connector should still be treated as planned from a product perspective.

The docs should describe the intended model, but should not imply that broad personal-email management is already generally available.
